"Lost" has to be one of my favorite tracks on the EP. I wrote it together with my cousin Max Konstanty, who is also a passionate musician, however, slightly more classically trained. This blended very well with my more technical way of thinking, resulting in something I'd describe as very "pure-sounding". 

We decided to name the song "Lost", because we it reminded us of the sense of freedom one feels after experiencing a journey—or in this case an EP.

For the 'Nerds':

The humming that's present in "Lost" from 1.11 onwards, is my cousin humming. We layered three sustained notes and processed them with filters to create a sense of movement.

"Journey" seamlessly transitions into "The Light". This was something I had been wanting to include in the EP to provide a story-like experience for the listener. I also enjoyed the thought of re-imagining the chord progression from "Journey" and taking it even further. I chose to name the track "The Light" because it takes the dark atmosphere from "Journey" and transforms it into something more dramatic, yet relieving. This reminded me of the idiom "seeing the light at the end of the tunnel".

I messed around with different things in the last time. And i finally came to a conclusion that i'm just gonna continue Alex Doan with my orchestral stuff. I don't stop with electronic music, i got another pseudonym for those stuff. I feel i have to separate them both. If you have questions regarding this change, feel free to message me :)

I just want to say a big thank you to all the people that have supported me on the electronic journey of Alex Doan. I had a lot of great experiences and i don't regret them. But sometimes things can change like they did for me. In orchestral music i can express all my feelings, which feels really great :)
I hope you will still be by my side, cause this is not the end, it's just the beginning of something great! <3
