'You'll Never See' Acapella Live Version

Over the last month I've been singing & recording vocals again, for some iPad demos I have made for the next album! This one is a love song, probably the only one in a while, I wrote it while I was married 8 years ago now, I really love the vocal arrangement so far & I hope you do too!

Heart To Heart

I wrote it about those bubble ish type of relationships, that end up taking us away from what we really care about in life. Musically, its a little bit Frou Frou, a little Lauryn Hill, a little MJ in the 90s, the drums kinda remind me of Tupac. Lyrically I was analysing quite a long relationship I’d been in, with the usual vices that people have, and how the vices had actually shaped us as people & put our relationship in a more selfish sphere than what I hold myself to as a human being. Words really are just words, the chorus for me is my realisation of that, i have so many other senses and functions as a human, to be someone’s everything suddenly seemed so unappealing. 

Nirvana

I heard this piece by Julien Marchal & instantly came up with these lyrics. Inspired by real life people. 
I wanted to sing with Julien for a while now & hopefully still will in the future, but for now, this will do. I hope you all enjoy.

I said I would wait another week to release this, but I just couldn't wait!

So, this song is basically my portrayal of what hollywood is like. it's also partially inspired by drag queens, lindsay lohan, and good old fashioned broadway musicals. 
It really serves no purpose except to be fierce & just a little bit sassy in the lyrics. 
I worked so hard on the vocals for this song, there is like a bajillion in there & if you listen you can hear them all, I mean it's mostly just 4 part but still, lots of doubles. 
I really want to keep talking lol, but I think that's all I have to say.
there may or may not be a special version of this song coming out sometime soon (fingers crossed).

I've already told you about this one on the original posting of the track. (broadway, hollywood, drag queens, lindsay lohan etc)
This is the related acoustic version, with guitar, piano & some drum shuffles, all played by, well, myself actually.
I love this version, even though it was fun to be really pop, I rarely ever play guitar, or piano nowadays actually, so this was super refreshing to sit down and make.

I hope you enjoy the track & this particular version of it ^_^ 
It was my pleasure to release these songs for you. 
Although, there won't be any more for a while, - I'm working hard on new material!

I absolutely loved the Borderlands 3 game & may have gotten too attached to the characters within, Maya is a Siren character & this song was inspired by her & her Zen monastery that she fought to protect
