My name is Professor Avalon... oh no, I'm not a HumanMaschine; I'm just human like you folks... well aside for a few augmentations. Although having HumanMaschine assistants would be extremely helpful here on the 4th floor, as a security precaution, we don't actually want to automate everything here. Why you ask? It's because we have a lot of live weaponry, and we don't want any HM hackers from rival corporations tampering with our arsenal with HumanMaschine infiltrators. The HumanMaschine you occasionally see here are all under the command and oversight of the Professor Lucius Slater, who runs their programming and routines.  

Anyways, if you'd follow me this way, you will see that we are approaching the Small Caliber Firing Range. Here, we have a vast arsenal of weaponry from ages past, present, and future. Fancy yourself testing your dexterity when you load and fire a black-powder 18th century musket? Or perhaps you want something more modern, like a M42A pulse rifle with an under-barrel smart grenade launcher? We also have a variety of exotic ex-sol armaments, from Proxima Centaurian Dub-Fire machine guns to Oktopus eight-barreled homing micro-rocket systems. Or perhaps you're a traditionalist and you want something smaller, such as our reproductions of 1873 Colt Single Action Army revovler or a lever action .22 cal plinker... oh you've shot them before? At Westworld? Ok, then what about a tactical thermobaric drone hunter? Bet they don't have that at Westworld or over the ocean at Fortress Europa!

As you continue onward, you will see a massive dome in the distance. That is our  FIBUA simulation hanger, which covers at 10 km² area inside our complex. With the lastest technology in holographic and full body augmented VR, you may select a battleground of your choosing and equip yourself with out vast arsenal. Hold team building corporate activities and learn about Fighting In Built Up Areas with simulated historic cities or towns. Learn how to manage a lava river crossing! Participate as opposing force members and train with our security regiment and chroniclers stationed at this complex as well. Vril is still a relatively little known artist but already he has some great accolades to his name: He has released a couple of great EPs on Giegling sub label Staub, had a track on Marcel Fengler's Berghain mix, Dettmann's Conducted and now appears with the 103rd release on Delsin. What he serves up is three titanic techno tracks designed with maximum dancefloor damage in mind.

So big are these productions that we got a message back from that well known mastering company in germany. For some mystified causes some of our expensive equipment was crashing during the mastering session (!). They’ve been mastering records since over 20 years and that has never happened before like this.

The Vortekz EP starts with the title track and it's a dramatic bit of big room techno with nerve gangling chords and plenty of sonic grit. The dub version is slower and more purposeful and is buried in a much wider, deeper groove that snakes more than stomps. Finally comes 'y7/10', which rocks back and forth in the same rusted loop as percussion flutters like tin foil in a stormy wind. The track flows an ever-higher arc of tension that eventually erupts into a sea of analogue fuzz and hiccupping techno beats.

As we promised, Ellen Allien is back. The BPitch Control boss' latest instalment is the Turn Off Your Mind EP, comprising of two raw, unpolished tracks of pure techno magic produced on a Roland Aira TR-8, TVB 303 and a Jupiter Synth in Ellen's living room. The EP evokes music time travel – most reminiscent of her time spent DJing at E-Wrk, Planet and Tresor in 1990s Berlin. On the A-side sits 'Hoo'. A rolling 8:08 time span of kaleidoscopic acid-soaked patterns and a cyclical bass line, all generous on the reverb. Despite a low tessitura, 'Hoo's moments of euphoria are still palpable. Ellen brings the sheer joy and thrill back to Berlin techno.

Following on the heels of last year's "Circuit EP", which got support from the likes of Scuba, Matthew Dear and 2000 And One, Andre Crom starts into 2017 with "Short Circuit", another offering of stripped back and highly functional dj-tools.

The title track's energetic drums are inspired by it's predecessor, but "Short Circuit" ditches "Circuit"'s vocal in favor of a mental industrial percussion-lead.

"Impedance" takes things towards a more stripped back and minimalistic route, the "randomly" syncopated drum patterns giving the track an ever-evolving feel.

Tallmen 785, a new member of the OFF-family and known from releases on Hotflush, Fiedel and his own "Tallmen Records", delivers a trippy and hypnotic underground remix.
