After all is gone, the memories will “Sail Into The Sun”. Humanity only has about 1 billion years left unless we find a way off planet Earth as the Sun gets brighter and hotter, destroying all life forms. In about 5 billion years, the sun turns into a red giant. The core of the Sun will shrink, but its outer layers will expand out to the orbit of Mars, engulfing our planet Earth in the process. Then, our Sun will finally die in 10 billion years, taking our memories along with it.
