J envie tous ceux qui ont des choses à dire
Qui ont tant de facilités à écrire le fond de leurs pensées…délavées ou exaltées.
Les miennes ont bien du Mal à se poser sur une feuille de papier
que je parte à l’aventure un dimanche
Ou à l Aube d une semaine pourtant pleine de belles promesses.
j en ai bien des soucis moi aussi
Mais Leur mise en mot est difficile.
Il est plus simple parfois de s’ allonger de ne rien faire que de les coucher sur du papier.
Est ce que ça sonnerait peut être mieux en anglais? C est une question que je me pose même si écrire dans cette langue m indispose…
Alors je glisse quelques mots comme ça pour faciliter ma prose…

Il me faudrait peut être l aide d un sorcier
Ou d un coup de baguette magique qui aiderait dame inspiration à se réveiller
Mais où vont ils bien chercher toutes leurs idées ?
Pendant que moi je me vide de toute substance… latente, redondante,ennuyante.

J envie tous ceux qui créent des chansons
Comme on fabrique des maisons
Qui en sortent des airs par million
qui osent étaler si « facilement » leur prose
Pendant que moi je ne peux rien faire à part… « getting bored ».

Tiens, je vais peut être activer la fonction dictée
En voilà une bonne idée!
Et chanter quelques da da da qui pourraient bien sonner
De quoi mettre un peu de sweet dans mes idées…

So I slip a few words like this to facilitate my prose...

I might need the help of a wizard
Or a magic wand that would help lady inspiration wake up
But where do they look for all their ideas?
While I empty myself of any substance... latent, redundant, boring.

I envy all those who create songs
How we make houses
Who come out of the airs by the million
Who dare to spread their prose so "easily"
While I can't do anything except... "getting bored".

Visiting my Scottish friend Jack tonight and I reminded him of how much I loved his version of Auld lang Syne. I first heard him perform this at our local bookstore in 2020 where he and his wife, Wendy presented stories and songs together . But, this song was the one I took home in my heart, because I had never heard it sung so sweetly. I had only heard it in the bar room choir , which has its own brand of sentimental value. Ha! But, Jacks version caused me to reflect on the message of the song, which is one of friendship and renewal. I love the simple yet poignant message which we all need to be reminded of. WE all are such beautiful parts of one another's lives . I hope we can embrace this message together . Thank you for listening! Love to all ..
