After a recent morning run we saw the frost melting under the Sunrise.

Sunrise Frost

A haunting and evocative piece with a deep, resonant bass line  and complex layers of Rhodes, percussion, and synths. The musicians build tension throughout the song, creating a sense of restrained drama that is only fully released in the final moments. along side losing the original files for this album, there were a ton of older songs of mine that were once released but dissapeared and i don't know what happened to them. one of those songs was called Overdose. Though this song is not a full remaster/recreation of that, a lot of the lyrics including the hook is what i remember of it. it was one of my favorites.

Chris Morris is a multifaceted artist known for blending genres and redefining musical boundaries. His latest single, Contagious, releases in November 2024 on Malaspalabras Records, the label of Santana’s Andy Vargas and comedian George Lopez, and promises to introduce his sound to new audiences worldwide.

A singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Chris has captivated listeners with soulful melodies and thought-provoking lyrics. Born in Oceanside, California, he began releasing music in the early 2000s. His 2010 album, Ascension, introduced his unique fusion of soul, pop, reggae, and hip-hop. That same year, his single "Can I Have This Dance" was featured in a video game, leading to international exposure and a 2013 tour in Taiwan.

Releases like Recollection (2017), Changes (2013), and instrumental albums Calibration and August (2022) showcase his genre-blending artistry. A member of San Diego’s reggae band Roots Covenant and performer with Stranger, he has collaborated with icons like Johnny Clarke and Sister Nancy.
