Theater Plastique is an artist collective that develops original music theater, opera, plays, and musical video. The collective is organized around principles of diversity, multiplicity, plasticity; the collective is diverse, multiple, plastic. With music, Theater Plastique seeks to uncover what has been culturally embedded in the American psyche through rhythm. 'American' is not just one person, vision, identity, or way of thinking; it is multiple weaving over, under, resting beside. The collective creates a creative space for this multiplicity to emerge.
