Lack of Fate - Follow The Lights

Athens-based artist Mr. Dello brings a love of industrial and dark techno to his sounds.
This brand new EP sees him deliver two tracks inspired by his techno roots.
The title track kicks off this EP with heavyweight kicks that will rattle warehouse walls. They are hard and flat-footed while caustic synths wash about the mix and ghoulish voices add extra darkness and intensity. The equally powerful ‘Kapioka’ has filtered acid lines spraying about over rolling and earth-shattering kicks that will ensure peak-time dance floor eruption.

Remixer Voiski is a live performer and DJ and with Iranian roots and a love of classic electro as well as one of the seminal artist on the Sheik ’N’ Beik having released two ‘Spotlight Diktat’ and ‘Soundless Pattern of the Tortoise’s Walk’. He is involved with several collaborative projects including being one-half of Polar Inertia and has been hugely
prolific on labels like Delsin and Bassiani. His take on ‘Mazepsou’ is lit up with bright, flashing synth motifs while the drums become broken and lumpy. It’s a euphoric cut in the most devilish of ways.

The 2nd remix is from Simone Gatto who released Sheik ‘N’ Beik’s only full length LP album to date.He is at the helm of southern Italian techno label Out-Er. Also known for his ambient sound therapy work, his warm and hypnotic sounds gets dancers into a meditative state. His dub of ‘Kapioka’ lays down vast rubbery kicks and cavernous sub-bass while the deft synth modulations whip about and the whole track ebbs and flows like turbulent seas during a Mid-Atlantic storm.

Secret Keywords is a vinyl and digital techno label based in Berlin, founded by Gianmarco Silvetti and Natascia Parisella.

Exploring new sounds is a focus for the project, where new experimental shades of techno have lead to featuring artists such as AWB, Conrad Van Orton, YYYY and Michal Jablonski.

Belarus born, and now Barcelona-based, Alexey Dunchyk is a promising talent who once again impresses with four original cuts on the new 'Thoughtcrime' EP. His back catalogue includes Bas Mooy's Mord sublabel Kazerne, as well as Arnaud Le Texier's Children of Tomorrow, Lewis Fautzi's Faut Section, and Oliver Rosemann's Recorded Things amongst others.

"Thoughtcrime 1" begins the release with a tubular sounding hook and shuffling percussion that create a powerful and interesting analogue atmosphere.

Next, "Thoughtcrime 2" steps into a tougher techno realm, with crunching effects and intense textures resembling shocks of lightning help generate a gritty aesthetic.

Third up, "Thoughtcrime 3" has a more hypnotic flavour, using droning tones and pulsing sound waves to maximum effect. Trippy and engaging, this an edgy yet mesmerising track.

Closing with "Thoughtcrime 4" screeches into action with a distorted, alarm-like chime bellowing and morphing into heavier prominence. Haunting chords add an ethereal touch to this wild an industrial take.

7 years ago, a non-commercial music blog Theatral Soup started as a hobby project…no actually as a postraumatic and manic driven soul seeking catharsis project in music after loosing everything and everyone loved in theatre and to write passionately about current and older publications in the field of electronic music internationally and locally 
In addition to reviews on fresh EPs and larger albums, compilations and genre contributions, the focus is also on the presentation of local techno DJs from Nuremberg, Berlin, as well as international interpreters in the field of Underground Techno. The punk submissive acoustic tendencies are Industrial Techno, Dub Techno, Electro, Experimental, Ambient and religion was always THE EBM. The musical sound of the THEATRAL SOUP podcast series is heavily influenced by industrial, noisey, sounds, but also explores the distorted sound worlds of Dub Techno, Detroit Electro, Hypnotic Techno, Experimental, Ambient and Big,Break and Brokenbeat Labeling greats such as Aufnahme + Wiergabe, R-Label Group, Perc Trax, Emerald, ILLIAN TAPE, Lobster Theremin or Sonic Groove. 
The every monthly visited and with friendships, soulmates , teachers, history and family Nuremberg event series Kiss Klub Musical Ästhetic vision is as long a LIBT and Out of the Box are among the big musical models and influences and my nerdy soulmate rivalry.
