Our 2021 Final drafts writers responded to a haiku by poet Megha Harish, entitled Multilingual/Multicultural,  as their stimulus for developing their own pieces. 

“speaking two cultures 
easier than two languages 
always tongue twisted”

These 6 emerging writers worked over a number of weeks to refine their craft, being guided to develop their piece with a writing pro – either author and essayist Varaidzo, or poet and playwright Zia Ahmed.

Water Journey tells the tale of one brave water droplet and the many adventures it finds itself on as it travels through the water cycle. We’ll meet polar bears, dinosaurs, undersea creatures and more. To start, run your little adventurer a bath, take a seat and press play. 

Warning: Be sure to keep all electronic items at a safe distance from water and ensure that all children are attended throughout their bathtime journey.

TP Heritage Sound Scape 2024

This album features original songs created by students from Theatre Peckham’s Academy Songwriting and Music Production class.
This year, the young creatives explored the theme of culture, choosing to focus on the rich and diverse world of music genres. Each student wrote and recorded an original track, using either a beat found online or one they produced themselves.
This album is a non-commercial project and is not used for profit.
