I dedicate this piece to the Fallen Heros of the United States and its Allies, from wars past to wars present. May their deaths never be in vain. May their Memory be honored. May their Spirits rest easy in Heaven.  Amen.

It is part of the Album "Black as Ebony". Inspired by the Legend of Zelda Nintendo-64 game, 'Ocarina of Time', it depicts the life of the anti-hero known as Dark Link. While much of his past is shrouded in mystery, his interactions as an antagonist against the Hero of Time leaves many questions about his actual reasons for wanting to fight, assuming of course that he has reasons to loathe him or has the ability of self reason and is not simply a mindless obedient monster. Yet, I feel his actions are so different from other monsters and bosses in the same game that I believe this character is individual, and is not necessarily the villain.

For some time I wanted to fill in the blanks of this anti-hero and give him a history, motivations for wanting to do what he did, including his particular style of aggression, and expanding his lore to give him a far more depthful and intriguing story.

This effort to fill in the blanks is to bring understanding. Likewise, when I see the mental struggles of War veterans returning from war, struggling with PTSD, and trying to live a normal life after the chaos they experienced, I am hardly surprised when they do not perform 'perfectly' in the eyes of the people. I relate to the struggle, though I have never fought in any wars of that nature. Yet I have fought an invisible war against the frailties of my own body and mind. I struggle with it every day. Please know, if you struggle, that I pray for you, and i honor your struggle with this melody.

"6 minutes to countdown" echoes through the command room. Rows upon rows of operators sit at desks, going over numbers, double checking, triple checking...everything has to be perfect this time. All the test rockets were done, and at last a solid method of launching people into space had been achieved. The first Settler Spaceship was going to mars, 200 strong engineers, mechanics, specialists, even security for who knows what was going. And all those people were depending on us, in the control room. Nothing must go wrong this time...

Hi, my name is Ryan Cox. I love music. Music is in my blood...or better put, IS my blood. When I was young, I always had a song I was humming or tune I was making up out of thin air, and it often got me in trouble for humming during 'quiet time' in kindergarten. Seriously, I just can't help it. I can't help but be musical.

These songs have taken years to perfect, but the recent innovations in the open-source program "Musescore" has inspired me to take off like never before, remastering songs I have worked on for the last 20 years. This has prompted me to once again take up the composing mantle and start a new channel to feature this change.

I hope this music is inspiring. I hope it brings hope to you. I hope it inspires you. I hope it inspires other rising artists to discover that it is possible to produce great music. I hope you can enjoy this music with me that I have put so much effort into.
