Sly & Robbie have done it again. The Riddim Twins joined forces with recent discovery Davin Michael Stedman and longtime collaborator Anthony Red Rose to deliver yet another reincarnation of their trademarked Dancehall sound. 

'Free Your Mind' is a fresh gumbo of Stedman's left handed acoustic soul, producer and running mate Anthony Red Rose's vision, and Sly & Robbie's unmistaken ability to elevate potential hits into anthems.

Recorded in Kingston, Jamaica at Sly and Robbie's One Pop Studio, the story of how this song together and how Stedman stepped off the plane from Seattle and onto the scene with Sick Donkey Records is what dreams are made of.

Bob Dylan and Mick Jagger would agree that Sly & Robbie need no introduction. Davin Michael Stedman is the frontman and founding member of The Staxx Brothers. Lanky Marsden is a Kingston keyboard wizard behind hits by the likes of Sean Paul. Anthony Redrose is a beloved Jam Rock pioneer in the fields of Lovers Rock and Dancehall going back to his first hit with King Tubby on the 1985's 'Tempo'. Just add a gospel choir and a little bit of destiny and 'Free Your Mind' was born.
