We are at a point in society, where everything has become anodyne.   Where it's almost impossible to tell one music artist from another. A place where repetition takes president over imagination and experimentation. 

The status quo, has become a never ending loop of painful repetition. 

"It has to be X and Y, or it's wrong!"

Conditional creativity, born from the corporatisation of all things. 

Jackson Pollock subverted all pre-conceptions of painting technique, shattered the norms and demonstrated that something can exist outside of the norms, and still be that thing. In his case, painting. Art.

Indeed even a 'long-form' post on X, is frowned upon. 
"That's not how you should post.... read the unwritten rules!"

Music has taken the brunt of this cultural standardisation. Not through a lack of creative people - but through a crushing pressure to 'sound like the handbook'

This isn't why I love music. This isn't why most music lovers, love music.

I make music which is without excuse, different. 

By doing this, I commit creative suicide in the womb - but I would rather remain true to my imagination, than sucumb to the desires of the machine.

This song is wrong many ways. It is incomparable to anything else. It is about Jackson Pollock. It is about loss.

But the one thing I will never loose, is myself.
