Canadian power trio "the backwater" is comprised of Mike Bricknell (drums), Kelvin Liu (bass, vocals), and Janis Bramanis (guitar, vocals). Based in the Greater Toronto Area, its members have played together in various bands prior to forming the backwater. The band's roots rock sound infused with pop/country influences will have you craving for more.

Currently in the studio completing their debut album with producer and Canadian rock legend Brian Gagnon (Dillinger, The Hunt), the backwater is about to make a splash.
