The Bananas are a rock band based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia formed in the early parts of 2010. Since, its formation, the band has played at various venues throughout Klang Valley, most notably The Laundry Bar, The UCSI UNIFEST, Artista Bar and Fete De La Musique just to name a few.

Comprising of original members Joe and Jye with the addition of James on drums, the band is in the process of writing new material since it’s well received pop-rock single ’30 days’.

Drawing inspiration from a wide array of bands and artists, notably, Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, RIZE (Japan) and the grunge movement during the 90s, The Bananas strive to write music which they could devote themselves to and serve as a form of expression of their passion for music.
