DANG is the project of Wayne Goldberg (Zazi Zazi), Prince Viscount III (Roberts of Kundahar), Larry Nutsford (Dixons is Closing) and Brad Grazen (The Freemasons). From a missionary family, which settled in Wuhan, capital of the Hubei Provence of China, Wayne Goldberg learned to play guitar for the clandestine church services held in his parents basement. At 16 he began playing in the local communist party sanctioned amusement parks, and bars. Wayne later went on to study at London School of Economics, where he developed his speculative thesis investigating the creation of a sound based currency. It was in London, at a conference about faith and violence in 2012, that the four met and began working on Wayne’s new currency and the formation of DANG.
