What strange and terrible things humanity has done in fear of the supernatural. What strange rituals and rules we have made for ourselves, and others, in fear of death, lest evil take a hold of our souls. The fear of what lies out in that cold, dark night - perhaps, beneath a fresh layer of grave dirt - is what haunted the minds of those who lived not so long ago, and made them fear the dead. Bury them, and pray they won't return.
