Moorix is twin brothers Josh and Jonny Gonzalez from Las vegas, NV.
As Moorix, we started playing after being inspired by God in the summer '10 at college church camp. We were in a bunch of bands before but never went anywhere, but at the camp we felt God wanted us to make music for him. We've always known God wanted to use us, and we have a natural talent to play music, and at the camp God made it clear and put the two together.
We wanted to try something different with Moorix that we haven't heard in Christian bands before. It has some funk, some flair, and we stayed away from sounds you'd hear on the radio. God makes music to bring us together, to dance, to enjoy good times with friends.
God is the composer of all our music and we are just his instruments.
