Well, i was in a 10 day meditation retreat, no talking, drinkin' and the like and the rain started...man did it rain. Didn't know that we were being hit by twisters and the like.It just kept raining. Had just seen the wonderful Paul Kelly doco and was wondering what ever happened to the bloke in the "To Her Door" song. did he make the gravy? WEll this is my take on it. It was never gonna work out, he just took another ride downtown Irene. rEcorded on Gussy's Verandah By Damir(my grouse Bruvver in Law) Gussy does backups and Garden hose...kinky hey. my first house when i first left my folks home was in the the lovely suburb of brisbane"rosalie" .We revisited that house a few weeks ago,still a cute little workers cottage that reminds me of some wonderful times.We had wide eyes and wonderment back then, working hard at maintaining that feeling. Hope ya like this simple little home recording.
