This track originally started life with an overdriven Hammond organ, pounding drums at 160bpm and a quirky little synth line which sounded like a 90s mobile ringtone, however this all changed when Carl demoed the vocals backed by an acoustic guitar. 

"Mute everything! I wonder what it'd sound like with synth strings and some massive timpani..."

p.s: sorry about the little glitch at the start - it's the album version and a fair few tracks flow into each other.
