Hey everyone! We hope this podcast provides an on-the-ground representation of the effects of neoliberal academia on those who teach, go to school, and work in other capacities at CSUN. Our goal is to share experiences so that others might be able to navigate CSUN more effectively. To this end, we have kept our style loose to get as close to authenticity as we can (we're also new at this, eek!). 

Theoretically, we rely on Wendy Brown's interpretation of Michel Foucault's homo economicus to illustrate how the bodies of contingent faculty become shaped by neoliberal expectations. We also owe a good amount of debt to scholars who have researched neoliberal academia, including Chandra Mohanty and Christopher Newfield.
