"The Bennu",  which is the Egyptian correspondence to the iconic phoenix, serves as the core concept of the band. As the description states, "This mythical creature experiences death by fire, followed by a spontaneous rebirth from the ashes".  Through a live music setting, the band works to create an atmosphere of freedom and musical awakening that expresses a joy for living and the endless transformation of heart, mind, and spirit.

Influences:
As well as being classically trained, the Band attributes their inspiration from bands and artists such as: John Scofield, The String Cheese Incident, Beats Antique, Bela Fleck, Miles Davis, Phish, Led Zeppelin, STS9, The Grateful Dead, and many others.
