Animal Spirits: Fox, magpie, chameleon

Soroka is Ukrainian for magpie. In Ukrainian folklore, magpies are sacred musical and mythical entities that facilitate the underworld and are messengers of the Ancestors. Through the embodiment of this mystical creature, the disc jockey known as SOROKA reaches into the center of diversified genres, highlighting a rooted commonality amongst changing BPMs. 
  Deeply connected to her Ukrainian heritage, raised in Detroit, Michigan, and presently living and loving on the Big Island of Hawaii, SOROKA has a mystifying, grounded, and eclectic approach to music.  Her centered perspective allows for the romance of diverse genres to manifest into sensual communion. Her soundscape is worldly in the same notion that is otherworldly. Her sonic flavor is wholesome in the sexiest manner. Her musical tone grows roots in the same breath that it escapes euphorically. 
SOROKA is proud to announce that although she has played multiple underground events on Big Island, notably Bee Dance and a few Big House Production events, Sonic Safari will be her first festival debut and she is very excited to share what she has been working on!

Joulz keeps his hand on the pulse of bass music and what makes people move. Mixing in the magic cauldron elements of world music, breaks, trap, sexy dub step, mid-tempo, future beats, glitch-hop, D&B, psy-dub, ambient, and some sacred vibrations thrown in for good measure. Ranging from whompy bass to gentle eastern melodies.

We call it sacred bass to keep it short. Drawing from a love of industrial, world, funk, and hip-hop vibes.

Centered Hawaii Resident Miko Franconi, is the curator of Centered Hawaii and a well-established Honolulu resident DJ. His current Honolulu residencies are Sneaky Tiki – Saturdays at KIKI’s Tiki Bar Waikiki, Rise – First Saturdays at Sky Waikiki, Shine Pool Party monthly at White Sands Hotel, Diesel Waikiki – Shop and Party.
Former “DJ OF THE YEAR” in The Honolulu Star-Bulletin (Spinzone), Miko finds his place in the Honolulu nightlife industry a mainstay and is a household name for house and techno throughout the state.
Miko has been a regular in clubs, festivals, and studios across the globe since 1999, when he debuted as an opening act for his oldest brother at Venus Nightclub HNL. Ultra Music Festival (Miami), EDC (Las Vegas), and Burning Man, to name a few festivals he’s shared his talents at, Miko is no stranger to the booth.
Although Hawaii was just the tip of his traveled career, he’s DJ’d across the states from NY, LA, SF, SEA, DEN, DET, CHI, and more. His latest tour encompassed a staggering 21 shows and two festivals in 19 cities across nine states in two months.
Relocating permanently back to Hawaii in 2018, Miko founded CENTERED to bring the world of underground dance music to his home state.
