The Birdsongs are a family band consisting of three brothers and a sister, who began playing music together at a very young age. Founded in the Northwest in 1995 by their father, Wendell Birdsong, they began traveling all over North America with a simple message of hope, and a love for Christ and people.Two decades later, The Birdsongs are more passionate than ever about the music God has given them to share. Over the years, The Birdsongs have played scores of Bluegrass festivals with bands such as Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, been a regular for four years at the family theme park, "Dollywood", shared the stage with Southern Gospel artists such as The Crabb Family, played music festivals alongside Christian Rock bands such as Sanctus Real and Red, and led worship for an evening with Hillsong Live and Passion City Church Band. But the highlight of their career has been how well their songs have been received by listeners of all ages and backgrounds. Their music has been played consistently on Christian Rock and Internet Radio with their rendition of "God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen" peaking at #3 on the 2016 CMW Christmas Radio chart. The Birdsongs are passionate about the gospel and see music as a powerful tool to express the hope and love they've found in Christ. "l love hearing stories of how God has used our music in people's lives" says singer/ songwriter Benjamin Birdsong. "We try to write as honestly as possible to show people they're not alone...that we all struggle, but Christ is the answer to all of life's problems".
