CONTRIBUTIONS SORT! 
A new track that I want to put out into the world for re-development and playful re-design... Looking for vocal performers or other musicians to download, re-edit and record their contributions to making it a stunning and staggering work!
The best re-development will receive an artwork from me and a limited edition physical release by my katabasis netlabel. Also I guarantee that any money made through sales will be in recognition of the joint construction and will be split 50/50.

The Track was recorded with live instruments and midi keyboard through Reaper. It has been mixed but not mastered. If there is any specific element that you require then let me know at the email address below.

Once You have recorded your contribution, either upload it privately to your soundcloud page and send me the link, or use Filetransfer.com or similar to email me a link to the track.

Deadline for all received files is March 3rd. 
A decision as to the winner will be made by March 10th.

(Please note that by contributing work you are NOT gauntleted a place as a contributor to the final release. 
The winner is an equal partner to all money made but has no right concerning physical production of artwork design, or method of production.
In the event that no money is made from sale of cd, the contributor is NOT liable for any of the physical releases incurred costs.
The author of this music competition , Peter Heselton reserves the right to adjust the parameters, deadline, production etc as necessary... I'm just a fella trying to do something interesting so cut me some slack!)

The Skewer is a late night trip into a satirical soundscape. This episode was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in April 2019. 

You can listen on your radio conventionally, but the soundscapes of The Skewer have been designed to enhance listeners’ experience through headphones; attaching you to a late night drip of current events as they melt into your brain, evoking that feeling of drifting off, but with the occasional uncomfortable sleep-twitch, as though you’ve accidentally stepped off a kerb.

The Skewer, then, is a late-night satirical river of sound from the next generation of satirists who don’t put pen to paper to make topical comedy, but instead use audio equipment to toy with the news-scape and all of the noises it makes. Freeform, dreamlike, curious, scathing - The Skewer is the home of the new news jokers.
