Greek artist @fragedis premieres their track breaks-infused techno track "Kliris" off the new Pi Electronics Splits vinyl series.

Split #1 marks the debut of a new vinyl series, to be hosted on the Various Artists catalogue of the label Pi Electronics. The Split series will be bringing two artists on the same vinyl, with this very first release presenting music by Greek producers Fragedis and Nemmett.

Despite different backgrounds of electronic music, Fragedis is a prolific figure of the Cretan islands’ dance scene, while Nemmett is one of the Athenean founding members of the ᾽π᾽ crew. Both artists premiere absolute weapons for this vinyl release.

On the A side, Fragedis delivers a techno/breaks cut of dystopian melodies and vocal samples with his opening track “Flantza." His second track, “Klirish” blends industrial leaning percussions with Detroit techno flavored synths.

On the flip side, Nemmett returns with his trademark industrial / breaks sound, in a hypnotic, rap vocal atmosphere with the track “Altars." His broken beat influences go more noise with his second track “Teeth”, which concludes the B side of the vinyl.

Premiere: FRAGEDIS "Klirish" - Pi Electronics

Social Noise is a new project based in Moscow, an artist who, although he debuts as a producer, has an important trajectory in the club scene of the Russian capital and also, with a very personal musical style, with an amalgam of influences that place him in scenarios as different as Goa, EBM and electro. He is not the first artist to mix the tantric and psychedelic concepts of trance with the strength and industrial textures of Electronic Body Music. A fellow countryman of his, Rambal Cochet, already surprised us last year with a similar style with his album released on Soil Records and with the podcast of the second anniversary of this label.

Oni is a six-track that combines different rhythmic structures, from breaks to binary measures, most of them with slow cadences, although we can also find some tracks with a much faster speed, and with sound patterns rich in nuances that give an important weight to the bass lines, which are fed by deep sub-bass, powerful arpeggios and even imposing acid sounds. 

As a whole, this album, released by the Valencian label Fill-Lex Records, immerses you in a state of lethargy and an immersive experience. It is designed to trap the listener on the spot, as it seems designed to penetrate every last corner of the mind, from the vigour and strength of its textures to the hypnotism of its melodies.

Secondary Drive brings his second EP on Tales of Psychofonia with four avant-garde and highly atmospheric tracks. Aphasia is the second chapter of the Tales of Psychofonia trilogy, inspired by neuropsychological conditions and their impact on our memory, speech, behaviour and perception of the world. It is also a metaphor for the current state of humanity.

The trilogy encompasses the versatile spectrum of the artist's musical style within the realm of edgy and dark electronic sounds. Aphasia EP is also enriched by a powerful remix created by Void Cells.


The three artworks of this trilogy are part of an artistic project made by the photographer Alejandra Vacuii.

The return of Bakunin Commando aka; @violet_poison_80 , Diana Berti, Obtane, 1/2 Aktion Mutante, etc. (Among many other projects) After his release on Amok Tapes in 2015 return with 7 killing tracks , Francesco Baudazzi, artist of an extensive record and founder of the label Veneno Viola focused on genres as vicious as relentless. This time Bakunin Commando heads towards a more experimental direction, shipwrecking to more unknown and remote places.
presenting a more conceptual ep with minimalistic proto-industrial/ebm tracks, inspired by the latest DVA Clock, mixing cyberpunk elements with delayed vocals and furious sequences. The 80's punk intuition and its characteristic ramblings undoubtedly give this album a particular character. Also fetishism, sexual exploration and domination are clearly a big inspiration.
