Last week Robert saw a tweet by Paula White, a famous church leader in america about how our words could stop God's plans.
Obviously on the furnace there is a plethora of varying views and in this episode we kinda go in on each other.

The great thing about the members of the furnace, if I do say so myself, is the elevation of the Bible as the ultimate authority on such things and so what starts out seemingly split ends up in a consensus. Spoiler alert!

Episode 41: Head Coach Changes And More Ft @Mayonaka

Today's episode is definitely not at all related to the TV show looking to help  families decide on relocating to Australia, but, with Bobby A's pastor leaving with his family to Sydney Australia it just seemed like an appropriate episode title.

And with that I guess I've given it away, we had the pleasure of being joined by Bobby A's pastor Captain Ashish Pawar and had a really nice conversation about his time spent as a pastor here in London and looking at the emotional, spiritual and mental challenges of making such a big change for  himself and his family.
Mo was busy playing pastor at his own church so unfortunately he wasn't here.

Captain Ashish has been on the podcast before and is an incredibly humble and down to earth guy and that shines through so brightly throughout the conversation.

I left really inspired and I'm really excited for you to hear it.

In this episode, we’re joined by Sam Neter, the man behind Hoopsfix (@Hoopsfix) - a site that covers all things British Basketball. We talked about how Hoopsfix came to be and the dope work they’ve done to produce events like the All-Star Classic Game. We of course talked a bit about the state of British Basketball and tried to share some thoughts on the good things that are happening, the not so good and what needs to change/improve. This also led to talking about the BBL and how that has evolved over the years. 

There’s a lot to take in from this episode but we would love to hear from you all on your thoughts about British Basketball as we definitely are not experts and want to positively contribute to the betterment of the game in some way.
