Laksa, co-founder of the re:lax label, club night, and NTS show with re:ni, has been shaping bass mutations since his early EPs on Batu’s Timedance. A Bristol bass head at heart, his hybrid sound has landed on labels like Hessle Audio, Ilian Tape, Tra Tra Trax, and AD93. His Body Score EP on re:lax saw support from Surgeon, DJ Nobu, and Mantra. With sets at Berghain, Nowadays, and Printworks, he effortlessly blurs styles with UK rudeness. With more releases lined up in 2024, Laksa continues to push his sound forward.
