As we gear up for Above Below 2024, we're excited to share one of last year's standout sets. If you've attended Above Below before, you're likely familiar with JaJa Beats. For those who were there in 2023, we're here to take you on a trip down memory lane. 

As two of our co-founders, they have a deep understanding of what resonates at the Stone Circle stage on a Sunday night and a special rapport with each other. Their music has brought us smiles over the years, and we hope it does the same for you.

Their smooth, groove-led, spacey minimal house set lit up the night with the perfect party energy. As one of the festival's final moments, it created a unified, unforgettable atmosphere, with the purest form of love and connection filling the space. The valley echoed with their contagious groove, making it a moment you wished would never end.

This year, they're teaming up with Meadowlark as ‘Top Floor’ for an extended back-to-back set, promising to elevate the energy to new heights and deliver the perfect balance of deep minimal beats. Not long now and we’ll be there together once again 🌱

Ivan Smagghe is stepping up to take over Tapes #142. Known for his ability to play music like a raw conduit between famously obscure records whilst never losing sight of the dancefloor’s strobe soaked bodies - injecting something of himself seamlessly into the mix along the way. 

His genre defying/defining production from Black Strobe, It’s A Fine Line, Smagghe & Cross and now Ivan & Johnny has connected him to and garnered the praise from the likes of Craig Richards, Vladimir Ivkovic, Paranoid London, Solar and of course, his long time friend Andrew Weatherall - all fellow crusaders in the fight to prove that electronic music is so much more than a one dimensional soundtrack for a night on the lash, and so much more than an Instagram account.

Jane Fitz took the stage twice with a B2B set this at rural 2024, and she appeared on the final day with her musical partner Jade Seatle, who co-hosts the DIY party “Night Moves” in their home, London. The final day started out rainy, but ended up with sunny skies. This set was deeply connected with such a dramatic ending. Enjoy this euphoric collection of left-field tech house gems.

Swiss producer Ben Kaczor and Swedish producer Martinou have been tracing parallel lines across the deeper shades of house and techno for over a decade. What began as a connection through SoundCloud has since bloomed into an understated, sonic kinship — now embodied in their joint alias: Terik Hensen.

With Nothing Feels Like Before, the 31st edition in the Discos Movimiento mix series, the duo opens a portal into something restrained yet expansive. A meditative flow of dub-inflected grooves and minimal percussion that moves like breath — steady, intimate, and full of space.

It’s not a beginning or an end.
Just a moment. A shift. A subtle unfolding.
And maybe that’s enough.
