The Blue Heavy is a 4 man rock group from Jackson, TN. The band recently recorded their self-titled ep at the noise factory in Memphis, TN paying homage to the local musical roots so deeply engrained in Middle and West Tennessee. The sound of the Blue Heavy is mixtures of 60's rock with hints of the legendary sound of Memphis' very own
 Stax Records, and contribute to this by keeping there stomping grounds close to home in the musically engrained cities of Memphis and Nashville.
