Jochem Hamerling was born on March 17, 1986, into a family where music was an integral part of life. From the moment his small hands could reach the piano keys, he began exploring the world of music. Soon after, he expanded his skills to other instruments like the saxophone and started experimenting with his father's synthesizers, crafting his first tracks.

Following the success of DISTORTION, Los Angeles-based artist Bobby Nourmand returns to Spectrum with his brand new two-track BURN EP. A journey through the darker, more cinematic side of electronic music, the EP seamlessly blends techno, post-punk, new wave, and dark disco influences.
 
The title track, BURN, sets the tone with deep, driving rhythms and atmospheric layers, offering a visceral and immersive experience. RISE follows with pulsating beats and soaring melodies, embodying a sense of renewal and resilience.

'The message of BURN is about letting go of self-doubt, obsession, and perfectionism. This music was created during a time of global uncertainty when the world felt disheveled, and we were all unsure of our futures-both as individuals and as a collective. It's easy to get stuck in the details, but doing so always gives us a false perspective.
