The Brightlight Team is determined from the start to push the boundaries, cross and re-cross genres whilst still keeping their finger on the groove.
Influenced by and including the likes of Juan Atkins, Massive Attack, Trentemoller, Henry Saiz, Robert Babicz, John Digweed and Nick Muir’s Bedrock releases, among their favourites; The Brightlight Team have spent a considerable amount of time and energy getting their sound right as well as keeping up to date with the latest developments in music technology and the global movement that is Electronic Dance Music and club culture. 
Consequently, The Brightlight Team’s sound is as varied and eclectic as the influences that inform it; from ephemeral dreamy soundscapes to hard driving rhythms strongly suggestive of Berlin’s underground: “We are producers and performers and the one definitive quality that brings it all together is the theme of journey that marks the live performance. Where you start is definitely not where you shall end.” 
This point is key to the ethos of The Brightlight Team, in both its productions and live performances.
