The Brooksidez was formed in a half-finished basements in Jackson Heights, New York as a collaborative effort between longstanding members of the local music scene itching to create in a time of crisis and relative solitude, What began as a solo project in the depths of 2020 quickly evolved into a tour de force in songwriting, production, and a clear sense of musical direction. With each member contributing unique perspectives on genre influence and play style, the group has dipped its toes in jazz, punk, blues, and even vaudeville (seriously) - while remaining loyal to its indie rock roots and above all, the unending desire to provide Hot Grooves to its growing band of loyal followers. The question then becomes: what do we call a supergroup comprised of ordinary men?

The answer: not the first name Jon came up with.

These guys have a bond.
