The Broombusters Biography
From chart topping success on Top Of The Pops and over 40 years experience in the music business, Charlie Wolfman is continuing to deliver upfront, gritty "back to his roots" Reggae, Ska, Blues and Rock n Roll, with his band The Broombusters.
The Broombusters are a collection of talented and experienced musicians performing tracks from some of the greatest artists of all time including: Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and Chuck Berry which they perform in their own inimitable way. The "Wolfman" has an infectious, charismatic persona onstage which always has the crowd going wild!
Charlie Wolfman is from the late 70’s and 80’s disco soul band the J.A.L.N. Band. The J.A.L.N. Band had  a number of chart successes like Disco Music (I like it / I Got To Sing/ Get Up and Let Yourself Go/and many more. The band was managed by Pete Waterman and toured Europe and most parts of the world for over 25 years. They made many appearances on Top Of The Pops and performed alongside other acts such as Chaka Khan and Kool And The Gang. The band released many singles and albums which are still enjoyed today. Look out for them on Top Of The Pops 2 on BBC 4 to this day!
In 2013 The Broombusters teamed up with world renowned computer game giant Activision to record a Chuck Berry inspired track for their computer game "Skylanders Swap Force" for Nintendo PS3, XBox and Wii. The recording was incorporated into the game play for this international computer game which has sold millions.
The band have performed at numerous weddings, corporate events, clubs, bars, clubs across the UK. They can adapt their repertoire to suit all venues and customer tastes.
