The Brothers of B Block is a musical drama about the lives of several inmates at the Ozland Detention Center. The story takes an intimate look at the men on B block. Revealing memoirs of struggle, pain, and survival. Although they come from different experiences their circumstances has united them, creating relativity, discernment and eventually perseverance. A new take on L. Frank Baum's " The wizard of Oz", without the witches and yellow brick. Once Donnell Curtis arrives, an innocent 18 year old arrested for a crime he didn't commit. His stay on B-block becomes an internal Journey. Donnell, weeks away from his 19th birthday, sheltered and misguided must come to terms with adulthood. It's going to take much more than clicking the heels of his metallic gold sneakers to get back home. This story was created to inspire, and bring a sense of compassion and understanding, while revealing the true meaning in brotherhood.
