Elle Dee & False Witness - Underneath EP (MF001)

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Comfort Cure. Detroit's dancefloor demolitionist is back with a brand new single and cassette release, "I'm the Drug", which comes on cassette format and also contains the new song "Lows" and a new version of "Hands of Stone" along with three remixes of "I'm the Drug" on the b-side. Compared to previous Comfort Cure releases, these new tracks focus on a more synth-pop and dance floor oriented sound. The three remixes on the B-side consist of a relentless EBM remix by NYC's Nuxx Vomica, a hard hitting club remix from Kansas City's Moon 17, and a skeletal minimal synth rework by Atlanta's Anticipation.

The Berlin-based artist debuts on the label with a killer six track release which features two remixes. The A-side takes you on a journey of self-reflection, through unpleasant emotions, pain and the struggle with your inner self, to finally let go. The B-Side reveals our two main characters - a story of two people sharing passionate kisses on the dance floor. Additionally, the B-Side contains two and outstanding and filthy good remixes by Mufti and Alen Skanner which is our premiere today.

"Human Traffic is designed in a narrative way," says NƵM 99. "I wanted to tell a story. This is what we are missing today, I think — the identity and the message. So let's stop the 'Human Traffic' present on social networks. These networks occupy far too much space in relation to music. Let's leave more room for the music, and the stage will be even more beautiful."

The EP includes remixes by Ireen Amnes, Halv Drom, and our premiere today from the prolific Radical G.

The Brvtalist is proud to present a special edition mix by Wisdom Tits in collaboration with Berlin's Krake Festival. Ahead of this year's fest taking place in Berlin from June 18th - June 23rd in Berlin, we bring you two promo mixes + interviews from two acts playing the festival. Today, we're excited to host this stellar one from Berlin based duo, Wisdom Tits. Comprised of Caillou, French-German DJ, curator and one half of MILK ME and Paty Vapor, Brazilian DJ, curator, part of Wrong Era, Slow Motion Records, and resident at the Berlin based club Sameheads, together they run their party series focused on highlighting Minimal Synth, Synthpunk, Post Punk and No Wave female & queer acts. Their research is focused on dark electronics and old-school sounds with an avant-garde touch. A blend of unique drums, powerful basslines, synthetic melodies and immersive vocals, connecting the past with the future. Shifting constantly between low and high BPM, they infect the dance floor with their selections.

The New York City-based artists have come together for the first release on newly launched imprint, Mild Fantasy (an extension of the well known New York event series). “Underneath” is the title track and provides the perfect taste of the EP’s raw, destructive power. With its cantering hats, a pulsing bassline and saturated claps, it swallows you whole. Side A seeing another massive piece aptly called “The Void” while the B side see the two producers go out on their own for two more strong outings.
