July 20th, Colombia's "Independence" Day, Pildoras Tapes (https://soundcloud.com/pildorastapes) releases the EP "Pacta Sunt Servanda", an audio-manifesto by the electro- conspirator/ activist/ Dj and producer, SPÆCIALISTA (https://soundcloud.com/radiospacialista), which reflects the anger, indignation and despair of a country reluctant to change.

Today, 210 years after the signing of the Revolution Act of 1810, Colombia is taken by political corruption and concentration of wealth, leading into a devastating situation of social inequality, permanently feeding an armed conflict that has not let the country progress along the way of reaching sovereignty, freedom, social justice and definitive independence.

This is the third and final benefit compilation of The Awakening series trilogy - over 2 hours and 27 tracks of sonic mayhem. For this volume the labels have decided to donate ALL proceeds from the sales of cassettes to the Covid-19 relief fund of The First Nations Development Institute (www.firstnations.org), along with ALL digital sales of PE3 in the month August. To mark the release, today we present Memory Clap Acid x Ben Chisholm’s “California Shame” which reunites the two artists after a long time apart for an infectious body mover which will stay with you for days. The two originally played in post-hardcore bands together and since then Memory Clap Acid has released material on Clan Destine, Up North and Junted. Chisholm is well respected for his underground productions and also plays in the band Chelsea Wolfe.

The SOIL Records head delivers a powerful record with a defined concept that spans multiple genres and sounds straight from the underground. SOJ always works within an industrial sound context, but his works can be based only on small details that finally lead us back to this countercultural environment and later feed into striking nuances that take a hold on the listener. “Land Of Lovers and Hammers” is the perfect example of his work - a rhythmic industrial groove which a slow burning mood that forces you into submission.

Premiere: Land Of Lovers and Hammers es el título que le ha dado el dueño de Soil Records a su álbum que será lanzado a través de Infidel Bodies.
SOJ siempre trabaja dentro de un contexto sonoro industrial, pero sus obras sólo pueden basarse en pequeños detalles que finalmente nos remontan a este entorno contracultural, elementos de este género, que luego se alimentan de otros matices externos.  
Diez temas originales combinan diferentes estructuras rítmicas con texturas armónicas, cada uno de ellos tiene un carisma diferente al resto, con influencias de estilos como el dark ambient, el techno o la electrónica experimental, y con patrones de composición bastante diferentes.  A las 10 pistas originales hay que sumar 4 versiones de WLDV, Unconscious, IV Horsemen y Filmmaker.

Ten original tracks combine different rhythmic structures with harmonic textures, each of them has a different charisma than the rest, with influences from styles such as dark ambient, techno or experimental electronics, and with quite different composition patterns. To the 10 original tracks must be added 4 versions of WLDV, Unconscious, IV Horsemen and Filmmaker.
