Dame-Music presents The Paradigm Shift Vol. 1.
For the first release of 2021, label owner Bloody Mary is launching a new series which aims to blur the lines between EBM, dark wave and acid. 

Kicking things off on the A-Side is Bloody Mary’s track “Snatch”, followed by the renowned French artist Millimetric who’s welcomed to Dame-Music for the first time with his track “Body Alert” on A2.
On the flip we see two more label debuts, this time from Russian artist Meshes on B1 with his track “Ролевая Игра (Roleplay)”, while Colombian artist Delectro rounds out the package on B2 with the heavy hitting and aptly named “Panic Rage”.

The Paradigm Shift Vol. 1 vinyl is out on 2nd July 2021 in all your favorite record shops.

Drumcode returns with its 6th installment of the internationally celebrated A-Sides series. Renowned for fostering a shared space between industry tastemakers and rising talent alike, the careful curation that goes into each volume is a fine example of why Beyer’s brand continues to go from strength to strength.

Techno titan Adam Beyer has grown Drumcode into a force to be reckoned with; the label has become synonymous with forward-thinking, functional techno and even after 20 years, Drumcode continues to find new boundaries to push, and ways to solidify its legacy as the world’s number one techno label. 

2017 is no exception, with Beyer’s imprint hosting it’s first stage at Tomorrowland, not to mention the expansion of the critically acclaimed Junction 2 where the Drumcode stage is the centrepiece and Adam plays the key role of festival director. The Drumcode phenomenon continues to grow each week, chiefly fuelled by Drumcode Radio, Adam’s radio show that’s broadcast in 57 countries via 86 stations and to a global audience of 16 million techno fans per week. 

The A-Sides series acts as a perfect vignette of Drumcode’s cutting-edge sound; functional yet inspired techno, all tracks tried and tested by Beyer himself. Vol. 6 continues this tradition with a collection of 16 multi-faceted cuts from a mixture of both emerging artists and experienced label friends. 

The heart-throbbing bass in Amelie Lens’ electrifying piece ‘In Silence’ sets the tone for the dark and dance-floor-ready energy that Vol.6 carries the whole way through. Other standouts include Mars Bill’s rough’n’ready ‘Mohave’. Pulsating and precise, ‘Mohave’ has highlighted many of Beyer’s sets recently as has Wehbba’s monster track ‘Fake’, which fans have been anticipating the release of all year. 

Label-favourites Dense & Pika also feature on ‘A-Sides’ Vol. 6 with their hard-hitting ‘Just a Beat’ and a huge track from Beyer himself who has joined forces with Enrico Sangiuliano to bring us their undeniably infectious ‘Preset Heaven’. 

With many more notable selections from the likes of Julian Jewell, Timmo, Tiger Stripes and Pig&Dan, A-Sides Vol. 6 is another impressive addition to the label’s prolific release roster and a testament to why Drumcode remains at the forefront of the electronic world.

— Образ России за границей многогранен. В основном к нам относятся как к одному большому технофлуду, в котором царят маразм, непрофессионализм и нечестность. Хотя есть и очень мощные промогруппы и лейблы, которые вышли на мировой уровень, добились огромных успехов и вызывают теплые чувства у слушателей во всех уголках земного шара.
— Моя цель - поехать учиться варить охренительный американо в студию Abbey Road. Ну и параллельно подглядывать, как отцы работают (Abbey Road Studios - студия звукозаписи, где записывались The Beatles, считается одной из самых крутых в мире. В этой студии для звукорежиссеров варят эталонный американо, который заряжает на весь оставшийся день. Отсюда шутка о том, что не ясно, для чего больше хотят попасть в студию - посмотреть, как работают мастера или попробовать легендарный кофе).
— Чем я горжусь? Новыми берцами «Фарадей», которые купил на днях. 
— Если бы до конца жизни я мог слушать только троих музыкальных исполнителей, это были бы Alexey Volkov, Draag и ID 303.

The Brvtalist is a writer, promoter and DJ with a focus on mutant metropolitan culture. Since 2013, the platform of the same name has featured, collaborated and/or performed with a variety of artists across multiple disciplines including Julius (JP), Void Vision, Drab Majesty, Katie Gallagher, Söderberg, Ancient Methods, Ayarcana, VTSS, Silent Servant, SPFDJ and more. As a DJ, The Brvtalist fuses together a mix of techno, industrial, EBM, acid and wave, playing both sides of the Atlantic, from Los Angeles to New York, Berlin, London and Paris. In addition, The Brvtalist has also become known for its forward thinking events, staging showcases in Amsterdam, L.A. and as a resident of Ohm Berlin. Through the website of the same name, the renown podcast series, New Brvtalism and over 10 years of experience as a DJ, The Brvtalist aims to expose different elements which all share the same dark romantic allure.

Originally from Glasgow and now based in Berlin, LISSA started DJing in early 2018 and has caught attention playing at clubs such as ://about blank, Kit Kat and Tresor. Her sets make their way through a number of different genres, from EBM, wave, and post-punk to techno, industrial and electro.

N.I.M PODCAST :: EP.40 [LISSA]

Born in Australia and raised in Southeast Asia, Zanias has been crafting emotional catharsis through sound since 2011 when she formed the band Linea Aspera with Ryan Ambridge in London, where she was studying archaeology and anthropology. Now based in Berlin, she has since collaborated with a wide range of artists in the darker realms of electronic music such as Sid Lamar of Schwefelgelb (in the band Keluar), Black Rain and Dax J. In 2014 she co-founded the ‘Fleisch’ collective with a group of similarly minded friends, which eventually transformed into the raw body music record label that she runs today. While still producing, singing, performing and DJing as a solo artist, she has also recently re-connected with Ryan Ambridge and has once again become the voice of Linea Aspera
