The goal is to blossom.

Tasime da Hidonash is a project that fuses the artistic practices of both Tasime and Hidonash into a new and unique vision. The duo combines Georgian folk vocals with a relentless construct of fast-paced industrial percussion. Their work takes different forms of menace, always maintaining an intriguing atmosphere. When the machines are brought on stage during a live set, the compositions transform into a turbulent barrage of vocal performance, live effects and modulation. Tasime da Hidonash have released their debut album on Soil Records (Madrid, Spain).

talian artist Christian Rossi, aka Unknown Code, and UK mainstay Drumsauw last appeared on Virgo back in October with their well-crafted ‘Berliner’ EP. It took them to new heights and received plenty of support from key tastemakers such as Laurent Garnier, Rodhad, Marcel Dettmann, Radio Slave, and DJ Bone. Before that, Rossi was already respected around Europe for his sleek techno sound on the likes of Planet Rhythm and for being a resident of the Roman crew Traumers. Meanwhile, Drumsauw has also made his mark and topped Beatport charts with tunes for On Edge Society, AnalyticTrail and more, and the pair's return brings another quality combination of their styles on Ilario Alicante's techno-focused label.

Opener ‘Unfuture’ mixes physical drums with atmospheric pads and distant vocals, with a surging warmth to the fizzing pads that help move things onward. ‘Can You Hear’ gets more raw and rusty with textured hi-hats and thudding kicks, all working you into a state of mediation while hammering hits and freaky vocals elevate it above mere tool status. Next, ‘Illusions’ brings synth pulses that convey paranoid energy over the rolling linear beats before ‘Motion’ serves up raved-up stabs and oversized hi-hats that wash over the dancefloor in waves of urgent techno that cannot fail to make a mark.
