Meshes is an outstanding live artist and dj from Russia, currently based in Armenia. His sound is inspired by ebm-techno and different modern aggressive electronic with punkish vibes. In his own tracks you will often find analogue sounds of massive bass-lines, aggressive percussion and his vocals - expressive phrases with the tones of effects. In the following recording he brought together some of producers which inspires him at the moment with their emotional, dirty but stylish atmosphere.

Robert Armani needs no introduction whatsoever. He was one of the first international techno DJs I saw play live in Dublin (The Kitchen) back in the late nineties. I had the poster for the event on my wall for years, so to say I am a fan is an understatement.

Most everyone will know Robert Armani from his classic releases on Dance Mania records - CIRCUS BELLS (famously remixed by Hardfloor) and AMBULANCE being up there at the top of any list.

As well as Dance Manie, he has a slew of releases on loads of labels including Alternative Current also known as ACV Records, an Italian Experimental Techno-label.

His track Hit Hard was re-released on vinyl in 2022 on Music Man records and hits just as hard today as it did when first released.

Danny Wabbit returns to the forefront with Manic, a carefully crafted five track EP that serves as a visceral journey through the psychological spectrum of the dancefloor.

The EP opens with the unexpected: 'Fear Is Nothing But A Tool', a cinematic dubstep intro to set a dark, preparatory tone. It then ignites with the title track 'Manic', a hypnotic and powerful techno cut built to induce peak-time frenzy.

Stripping techno back to its raw essence, 'Severed' delivers a minimalist homage to the genre's warehouse roots. This raw intensity then gives way to the meditative groove of 'Breath Work', a track centered on calming, pulsating rhythms. The EP closes with the soulful and uplifting vibes of 'That One House Track', the perfect euphoric finale to a long night.

The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Charly Schaller. Born in Munich Germany, Schaller discovered her passion for techno during her gap year when she was first exposed to it as a raver in Berlin’s Techno clubs. After moving to England to study at the University of Cambridge, she developed her penchant for diverse sub-genres of techno music after being exposed to an ambit of musical cultures in the UK. 

Upon finishing her studies in Philosophy, Charly relocated to Berlin and began Djing in various clubs and venues across Berlin and Germany, including: About Blank, Grießmühle, and Arena Club.

Since her debut, Charly’s DJ repertoire has embraced an eclectic musical collection that allows the audience to explore a truly personalised sensorial experience. Boasting a passion for tracks with vocals, as well as Rave, percussion heavy bangers, and dramatic synth lines, Charly merges divergent musical styles in her DJ sets as a unique signature; one that inspires the audience to be fully immersed in the euphoric experience that only music can inspire. 

Charly is currently a promoter and resident at Edge Detection (at PAL/About Blank) and Strictly Forbidden (at Maze). More recently she has been picked up by Alan Fitzpatricks “We Are The Brave” label and will be releasing on their “Electric Soul” compilation in June, alongside playing various shows for the brand. We are thrilled to have her contribute to our series with this explosive mix of techno, acid, rave and more, showcasing her diverse sound.
