This week we are happy to invite one of the most hard-working DJs in Ukraine’s electronic music scene, Nastya Muravoya made a name for herself in her hometown of Kyiv playing iconic parties such as Cxema, and overseas in other integral cities such as Berlin, and Krakow. As well as joining the line-ups for Unsound in Poland and Pohoda Festival in Slovakia last year, she’s made numerous appearances at Berghain. “Before I started playing, I just went to parties to dance. After a while I began to listen to music and in the future just look for tracks that I would dance all night long to. I found my sound very simply. If I like the track, I play it”.

BCCO Podcast 449 is from Ukrainian artist Little Vanya.

Now based in Berlin, Little Vanya is known for his unique sets blending breakbeat, techno, and experimental sounds. Originally from Kyiv, Vanya developed his style in the underground scenes of New York, Detroit, and Kyiv before making home in Berlin. He now runs SALO, a party that brings together the raw energy of Kyiv with Berlin’s techno scene.

In this mix, Little Vanya aims to capture the darkness and chaos that became their reality during the war in Ukraine. Sounds of dirt and gunfire run through every note, evoking a sense of apocalyptic tension with a hopeful ending. Deep basses and sharp accents reflect destruction and uncertainty, offering an immersive audio-visual experience.

In addition to DJing, Vanya also works as an actor and model, adding a creative edge to their performances both in the club and beyond.
