Samo Records yearly compilation returns with their fourth installment, Polygon, a set of 8 tracks that, as usual, go in different and intriguing musical directions.

The label once again welcomes a brand-new group of artists to the label: Virtue Signal starts it off with a big chord carpenter-ish track; Bustié follows with a heavy-bass electro track; Alpha Sect feat. The Hanged Man gets dark with an EBM smasher; Cavalry Stone picks up the tempo with an arpeggiated heavy-hitter; Clock Serum continues with a high-tempo Industrial/EBM smasher; NiKiT offers an electro monster; Jack Carel delivers a deep electro beast; and Gem Wallow wraps things up with a driving leftfield psychedelic number.

As we all feel the pain of the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, we decided to create a Various Artists compilation to raise awareness and funds for those affected by the earthquakes.

Catastrophe is a collection of 14 tracks from 15 artists; featuring Black Light Smoke, Electrorites, Ethan Fawkes, Fauer, Hybral, Inglawt, LVCERATE, Mova, Notausgang, Omar Ayari, Skumring, The Hanged Man & Abby Knives, Unrealnumbers and WLDV.

All proceeds will go towards helping people who were affected by this tragic event.

We encourage you to donate to aid charities in Turkey or Syria, and spreading the word about this compilation through social media.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Comme Un Coeur aka Dmitry Distant. One of his most luscious releases to date, he presents a romantic take on the classic ‘Eyes Without A Face’ ballad written by Billy Idol and Steve Stevens back in 1983. Languorous vocals by Valeria Simonova, Dmitry’s longtime collaborator, are set off against a backdrop of lush, sparkling synth parts, to create a hazy, dreamy sonic atmosphere. The title track is juxtaposed to the expertly made remix by Franz Scala, a well-known DJ and owner of Slow Motion Records label – this hypnotic throbbing banger with Italo and EBM influences is surely meant to rock the dancefloor.
