Today, the 4th of August 2021, marks 3 years from the loss of great electronic music artist Damcase (Dimitris Damaskos) - hailing from Thessaloniki, based for years in Rotterdam, NL.

'Xenosonics - Vol. 1' summarizes the label's manifest to highlight the interlocution and dissonance between artists from latin america and europe, projecting local scenes globally. In face of our global political dystopia, one must let one's skin feel and carefully trust the noise one chooses to make, so that this landscape is unbuilt and no longer lacks a sense of belonging. In these mixtures of sounds that stand between the mechanical, rhythmic and dreamy there is a proposition to dilute notions of time, space, and individuality, but their negation exposes their respective densities; at the same time they evaporate, they viscerally present themselves.

Raär's music manages to draw the masses beneath the surface of common perception. The blend of deep, organic atmospheres, liquid sound design and a supersonic beat awakens a deeply rooted but rarely accessible state of mind. "Riparian Zone" is definitely a tool for transcendental experiences.

There are only a handful of artists like Nebuchadnezzar who have made a name for themselves and demonstrate that rules in electronic music are meant to be broken. "Fidget" is a good example of the obsolescence of obsessive genre categorization. Unpredictable rhythms and glitchy, whipping drums feel like a race against time (extended to almost nine minutes).

With "Sea And Bunkers", Sukkube proves her virtuoso and versatile handling of modular sound synthesis. The rapid, loopy beat, accompanied by a serious and simultaneously playful melody and hissing atmospheres, generates a mysterious, fresh mood. Influences from different eras form an interesting symbiosis of futuristic, uplifting techno and nuances of classic styles.

Driven by the complexities of love, SALOME’s latest release, «HACKER,» on HERRENSAUNA label, is a sonic explosion of vulnerability. The five-track EP features three original productions by SALOME and two remixes by Manni Dee and Umwelt, ready to short-circuit your system.

SALOME masterfully blends delicate melodies with thunderous breakbeats, mirroring the tumultuous nature of love. «Hacker» (A1) pulsates with the mantra «You hacked my mind,» a stark reminder that falling head over heels often means surrendering control. «Romance Malfunction» (A2) paints a vivid picture of the exhilarating highs and crashing lows of a rollercoaster relationship, ultimately leading to the introspective «Love Leaked» (A3).
Seeking diverse interpretations, SALOME enlisted two of her most admired artists, Manni Dee (B1) and Umwelt (B2), to deliver their unique takes on «Hacker,» further enriching the emotional landscape of the eponymous EP.
