The Solidarity VA is composed of twelve tracks produced by artists from all over the world. Curated by Xul Rether, the release showcases the sounds of 12 different artists, . Each artist brings their own flavour to Solidarity V/A, with a stellar selection of 90s-influenced techno, futuristic electro, sultry EBM, experimental sounds, and broken rhythms.

In support of the registered charity Voices for Children, 100% of the profits from Solidarity V/A will be donated to the organisation providing psychological and psychosocial support to children who suffer from war operations. Currently situated on the frontlines of Donetsk and Luhansk, Voices for Children continue their mission to help every child affected by the war in Ukraine.

Featuring XTR's signature fervent vocals and glimmering synths, "Hardcore” is the new track from the German artist on his brand new DIY label WIE EIN GOTT. Descending on the German soil, the label is deadly inspired in Prometheus, the indomitable Titan, the mastermind-trickster of the Greek mythology. He is the God of fire. In sacred craftsmanship, he is the creator of the mortals and, therefore, its sounds. That's why now we have some of the Forethinker's avalanches of sounds ready to move your bones and soul into a firestorm celebration. To craft such a body-jacking synthesis of gothic atmosphere and dance energy, Johannes brought together a host of producers, artists and dark-minded individuals to present the label's first V.A. "ASCENSION" is the debut album release from artist ston, an independently released project. 

For Ascension, I set out to explore hard house, bassline, and electronic elements throughout.

This body of work means a lot to me—it took up six months of my life and taught me so much about music production. It also taught me the importance of committing to what you set out to achieve and the struggles that can come with that. Most importantly, it showed me that imperfection is okay when the alternative is procrastination.

I created this album using the DAW FL Studio, and as of its release, I’ve begun transitioning to Ableton—a commitment I set for myself when I first began this project.
Through this experience, I’ve learned that moving forward, I want to dive into more intricate ideas and trust my creative process without falling into the trap of comparing my work to others. I’m eager to experiment with more abstract percussions, deeper emotional progressions, and unconventional grooves. It’s going to be a journey, but I’m excited for it to begin.

HELLO STRANGER

After an annum of repose, London-based and industrial-clique-doted Depth.Request offers to consideration what's promised to be the first volume in a series titled Hostile Responses & Provocations. Boasting an international lineup, this post-punk, EBM-leaning VA release revolves predominantly at a pace of 135 BPM and features occasional outbursts of indiscernibly distorted lyrics throughout its six rough-hewed, distinctly industrial cuts.

Setting a brooding but aptly instigating tone, No.Ba's opener Bourbon Drive rolls out with unhastily tumbling percs, widely mounting pads and grungy bass cast behind roaring outcries of a rather aggravated vocalist.

Positing that Hate's A Loaded Gun, Istigkeit then continues by elevating velocity, hardening its relentless kicks and violating the rest of the spectrum with walls of sandy hats and whooshes occasionally intersected with looped utterances.

Cranking the cacophony handle to eleven in his wildly syncopated Shug that creates sense of participating in a DIY rave taking place at the base of an erupting volcano, War Scenes programs the drums to run at a double time next to speeding open hats and a condensed, pressurizing sub level.

As last days of s.e.x.'s-fathered and Espectra Negra-featured Phallic Mother starts off, one could be forgiven for thinking that a record with sirens of the apocalypse have been put under the needle of God's antique doomsday gramophone; breathing room is nowhere be found on this anarchic monstrosity on an aural beatdown where screeching and screaming combat to outperform the relentless drumline in gain.

The plate's penultimate suggestion Never Be Silent sees NX1 participant Samot coming well to his own through the use of quartertime-turning-halftime kicks, dirty bass sheets, eerily exhaling stabs, elongated shrills and other percussive arrangements forged seemingly of sheer noise conditioned to occupy higher ranges.

Closing on a comparatively restrained, stealthy crawler DXS, Blasted lastly showcases his knack for conjuring contemplative sound environments where UK bass can flirt with techno and percussive elements of non-overlapping positions are given equal footing in terms of establishing rhythms and carrying the sonic narrative forward without a need for restraint to permanent patterns of behavior.
