The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Vera Spektor. Active since the mid 2000s, he has released material on seminal underground labels like Third Type Tapes, Ekar and Stripe999. He now returns with a new EP, La Guerra Delle Forme, on Pressured Speech Productions. In the spirit of the year that was, Spektor offers a look at the concrete settings left empty by modern life. Heavy industrial experiments gives way to surges of electronic force as the release moves through an array of blackened atmospheres and captures the struggles of our time. Today we premiere the excellent Golden Bludgeon.

[selected] are continuing their monthly release series with their fourth EP. For this one Berlin local newcomer Karl Schwarz takes the reins and delivers an unapologetic kickdrum massacre, garnished with massive trance leads titled "She Walks Away" 
At first sight "Answer Or Not” restrains itself from its predecessor’s deranged mind games – but frees itself from its chains after broken, ritualistic drums initiate the diabolic synth line, which is characteristic for Schwarz’ style. Also includes a remix of the title track by Part Time Killer.

For a second installment of The Instinct Series, we have invited Kursk (Berlin) and Volsent (Amsterdam). Both, alien to one another, their musical language broke through the borders and laid-out foundations of unity on this split EP. Stylistically, the two artists’ have already crafted their distinct styles. Yet it is the rawness of their respective sounds, which is the glue that binds this release together. And to complete it, Duellist, the industrial techno warlock, lends his hand with a remix.

The whole EP embodies our vision, not only in the form of the “sonic medicine”. By offering our creative platform to the emerging artists’ as well as being true to our motto, we are “setting fire to the rage of acceptance”. Unearthing the yet unheard and locating them at the heart of our community.

One of our favorite Berlin projects returns with a new track on the upcoming DURCH v/a compilation: Solidarity 002 - A Love Letter To The Queer Community. DURCH is a queer collective with a clear vision of solidarity and community building. DURCH operates in Tel Aviv and Berlin trying to bring queer people together, building a culture of inclusion, diversity and tolerance. In the tradition of original raves DURCH organizes solidarity events ranging from parties, to art and community events, with the strong belief that raves are a much needed place for people to come together, celebrate their diversity and learn to respect each other.

After releasing their first v/a earlier in the year, The are back with their second solidarity release of the year: Bolder, queerer and definitely more fun than ever. Take a bit of everything, mix it together and then burn it all down. Building on our previous release DURCH [digital] Solidarity 002 features some well established artists alongside some exciting, well-kept secrets of the electronic dance music scene. You’re in for a bumpy ride and a couple of pretty nasty surprises on the way. Today we bring you the nu gabber post techno punk of "Satan Was a BabyBoomer". 

As always, the proceeds from the release go to Queer causes and this release will benefit TransInterQueer e.V. (TrIQ) and Casa Kuà. Out on April 16th and you can get yours on BANDCAMP.
