With the project XV | 2 Affin leaves 15 years of its existence behind and looks expectantly and full of optimism into the future.

The Alchemical Theory starts with "Voyager" a deep trip into the pleasures of broken beats, paired with melodic inserts. With "Reforma" Massa once again delivers a driving, engaging track that creates space with spherical, seemingly distant sound waves. Arnaud Le Texier rounds off the second part of the series with the deep, groovy "Cluster".

All tracks were mastered at the Berlin-based Artefacts Mastering Studio. Markus Guentner, a label artist from the early days, is responsible for the graphic design and also did a logo redesign.

With this new EP we want to involve the listener in a journey into the mysteries of ancient Egypt. The civilization of ancient Egypt was developed along the Nile Valley from the floodgates, to the south and to the border with the present Sudan, to the mouth, to the delta, to the Mediterranean Sea, for a total area of ​​about 1000 km. Although the territory was much larger, including much of the Libyan-Nubian Desert, human settlements, since the earliest times, developed only in the narrow green belt close to the banks of the wide river, in some places even only a few hundred meters. These lands are rich in charm and mystery and with our music we want to retrace them mentally, without real borders.

Ukranian producer/DJ Svarog lands on @affin with his "Substances" EP, the fifth on the label ran by Joachim Spieth.

His sound is personal and unique, always focusing in dark but evocative textures, combining saturated timbres, industrial sound and atmospheric landscapes, even broken rhythms. Shades of ambient, mysticism, and real techno are the elements that characterize all his output. The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere  “Storming Near The Baltic” by Raroh. The track comes off the new V/A on Crescent London, a new deep & hypnotic techno label centred on ambient textures and dub elements. Named "Magnetic Fields", the V/A is focusing on electric atmospheres and textures, locking the listener deep in the groove and the hypnosis. From drone and euphoric atmospheres to detailed broken-techno, the compilation displays a textured view on contemporary techno, elegant and mental, yet ready for the clubs to re-open.
