Behind the 9th podcast is Oneiroid, a resident of Moscow promotion team Touched.  His nickname refers to the near-trance state of consciousness, in which reality and fantasy intertwine and become indistinguishable.

The existing associations are fully justified by the new mix.  Starting off with a pace of 150 and acidcore/mentalcore motives, he quickly soars towards the heights of speed and true hard trance and psy trance. Old school sound, relevant yet again, from the connoisseur of the genre.

In 2019, he took a step back from 4-to-the-floor techno and unleashed his debut LP as TMPLT on his own eponymous label. His sound pulls from a diverse array of genres including UK grim, break beat, dub techno and more. Following his debut album, he now delivers the second release on the imprint titled Kubta which finds one original track and remixes from Andre Kronert and Hex Wolves. Following his hunger for new projects, French electronic music reference @danglesmaxime worked on the soundtrack of  “Les Délivrés”, a documentary directed by Thomas Grandremy about the alarming working conditions of delivery men/women employed by platforms such as Deliveroo and Uber Eats. He’s now extending his soundtrack work with an album. The alienation, stress, struggle and hope of the documentary’s protagonists were his sources of inspiration to draw this poetic extension of the director's harrowing and necessary documentary.

« Affrontement », the first single  from this 7-track LP which will be released by November 2021, talks about their fight for social justice. With raw and striking sounds, sometimes remembering sound of a factory, relates to the alienation of this kind of job. Even with a touch of melancholic, the harsh sound brings back to the struggle they are facing. Indeed, an incisive and powerful track between electronica and IDM, to push us in our thoughts.

Maxime Dangles - Affrontement [Artaphine Premiere]

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Duellist and iformat. “Rabid” is the A1 off the Scottish heavyweights’ new record and first vinyl release for Manchester’s DRØNE. True to form the pair come storming out of the gate. This is a crushing industrialized techno track that feels like a buzz saw massacre from a horror film. The rest of the release contains a massive remix package featuring remixes from Japan’s Ryuji Takeuchi, L.A.’s Axkan and Italian rave master D. Carbone. This one has it all.
