“Mirror Glaze Lavish” is Marc’s latest effort in trying to depict his cynical and disillusioned view of the present-day music scene, seen through a sonic magnifier that emphasizes its greatest controversies, by juxtaposing different electronic languages as a challenge to the current levelling artistic trends. The artist personality is nullified, standardized to a state of placid non-critical thinking. Everyday’s emptiness emerges as the structure of reality and only the cracks in it still lead to life. “Great souls suffer in silence”, once said Friedrich Schiller, but what if silence becomes an audible, danceable image? As if all these electro cuts, differently permeated with a balanced mix of playful darkness, were populated by eerie animals that cannot find peace with their habitat and keep dancing relentlessly until the very end of their miserable existence. Seen in this context, each of Marc’s tracks must be interpreted as an irreverent and poignant act of self-assertion vis-à-vis his contemporaries. Morah’s reinterpretation of “Celexxa” adds value to the original track, taking us for a dirty ride on a psycho-electro-charged rollercoaster.

Kicking off the New Year with a bang, late February sees the imprint label head team up alongside Barcelona-based artist Cardopusher, known for his releases on the likes of Dark Entries, Zone, Super Rhythm Trax and Boysnoize Records, to deliver an EP full of hard-hitting, acidic EBM weapons – backed by a remix from ‘man of the moment’ Sarin who arrives fresh off the back of his album on Phase Fatale’s ‘Bite’ in late 2019.

The Brvtalist is proud to present Living Hell, the debut album from Wvalaam Klous - a conceptual artist living in London combining ideas utilizing various forms of sound design. This 10 track (plus 1 bonus) album is master work of industrial, ebm, noise and beyond which casts a true reflection of our times. The release also features a floor destroying remix from London’s Fairground of Tears. 

In addition, Living Hell also launches Brvtalist Sound Recordings, our new in-house label and a natural extension of The Brvtalist platform. Brvtalist Sound Recordings seeks to further the aim of its namesake and release the unexpected, unconventional and the unholy from across the universe of sound. Today we present the first track of the album, the aptly titled “Welcome To The Dark side”. Living Hell  will be available March 26th, 2020 on digital and on limited edition cassette which includes a poster of the cover art by the always amazing Hila Angelica.
