Just In Time features Jay Rowe who is a creative based in Toronto. Her passion for the arts started from a young age as a classically trained dancer which then bled into photography as she captured the art of dance. By way of her entrepreneurial endeavors as a photographer Jay has also worked as a stylist, graphic designer, videographer and editor. She hopes to utilize her artistic passions to further explore the world, leave positive lasting moments of creativity, and foster genuine rich lasting connections.

Many don’t know that this Trini Queen is a chemist, model and an entrepreneur. She holds a PhD in Chemistry and has graced runways and magazine, and more recently started her own business. Sherry aspires to break through glass ceilings to continue on a journey of self-appreciation and empowerment, and to be able to empower others to do the same.

Sherry chose the song Deep End by Lykke Li; a really cool and chill kind of vibe that represents just one side of her multifaceted personality. In this segment, Sherry and I discuss and connect on identity and representation, accepting our difference and the fulfillment in just doing your own thing.

I would describe Gabrielle as a visual storyteller as we share the same passion in creating but also exploring narratives through different mediums.

She is Ghanaian-born, Mississauga-raised and continues to grow in her purpose. Her background is in interior, architectural and graphic design and she desires to create visuals and experiences that leaves one feeling good and inspired.

Meeting up was the perfect opportunity for us to catch up and really delve deeper into our desires and what progress has looked like for each of us. Gabrielle chose the beautiful song Unspoken Words by The Soil and yoga as her movement. We spend some time discussing the importance and process of being rooted from the perspective of our shared struggles, faith as well as creative vision.
