"Moon Turn Red" is MonkeyJunk’s fourth release, showcasing deep grooves and soulful original material.
The Ottawa based trio are Canada’s most acclaimed blues/roots music band. They are Juno Award winners and have taken home top honours four times at the Maple Blues Awards. MonkeyJunk’s touring schedule regularly includes dates in Europe and major festivals across North America.
Guests on this release include David Wilcox in a remake of his hit “Hot Hot Papa” and Gordie Johnson of Big Sugar fame.

The Burn Ins are an Award-Winning Female-Fronted Canadian Indie Blues Rock Band from Elkford BC/Camrose AB. Their music will take you on a delightfully dark journey into a foot-stomping good time.  Aaron Lyall just wants to bang on his drums all day, Aaron Mokry has guitar licks so tasty they make your mom’s cooking look bad, and bassist Kristine Lyall fronts this power trio with her own brand of soulful vocal stylings.

Excitement is building for the release of The Burn Ins new album Start A Fire and cross-Canada tour this summer (dates to be announced).  This is the 2nd project they’ve put together with producer Jonathan Anderson at Protection Island Recording in Maple Ridge, BC. The previous album On The Inside has seen much success. The Burn Ins have been gaining momentum with no plans to burn out any time soon.

Living out of a motorhome, van, or the homes of friends and family for the last 5 years has made it easy to travel. The band has toured through Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Montana, New Mexico, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Northwest Territories, Yukon, Alaska, and British Columbia. A few favourite stops have been Nashville and Toronto, and their 3 week tour in Japan was an experience they will never forget. 

Getting hit by a car while riding a motorcycle harshly reminded Kristine and Aaron Lyall that LIFE IS SHORT.  After their recovery they decided to sell most of their possessions, rent out their house, leave their tiny hometown behind and take the band on the road full-time... with almost zero experience and no clue what would happen next.  It has been a strange and fascinating journey that has brought them to this point, they wouldn’t have it any other way.
