Musetta's Waltz

Joplin wrote this wonderful ragtime waltz after her very young wife, Freddie Alexander died after only a few weeks of marriage. Recorded by Bohém Ragtime Jazz Band's leader, pianist Tamás Ittzés on Oct 20, 2013 in Budapest.

It was first recorded by Louis Armstrong and released as a single in 1967. Thiele and Weiss were both prominent in the music world (Thiele as a producer and Weiss as a composer/performer Armstrong's recording was inducted in the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999. The publishing for this song is controlled by Memory Lane Music Group, Carlin Music Corp., and Bug Music, Inc.

This is a cue from a film I scored titled "The Magic Hand of Chance" starring the world’s greatest magician – Yevgeniy Voronin!

I am a big fan of quirky European film soundtracks and this is my version! Some of my favorite music that I composed for the films series is from this movie. I love writing this kind of music.

This is the first track off the new CD, Lady Day in Harlem, featuring amazing singer Mellow Baku with her band, MellowTone.  This band comprises Ben Cummings, trumpet, Ian Bateman, trombone, John Hallam, reeds, Tom Kincaid, piano, Tony Sharp, string bass, Nick Milward, drums and Rachel Hayward, guitar. The CD is a tribute to Billie Holiday, featuring some of her best known blues and ballads, such as Fine and Mellow, Georgia on my mind, Sunny side of the Street, Wild Women Blues, The Very Thought of you, amongst others.
